Sardines (Sardina pilchardus) are blue fish that live in coastal salt waters. All of our sardines come from the Atlantic Ocean and were fished along the coastlines of Galicia and Portugal. Palacio de Oriente presents them in oil, both olive and sunflower, in tomato sauce, in spicy sauce and in lemon sauce.
Canned sardines and sardinella possess all of the health benefits of blue fish, and eating them with their bones provides a concentrated source of calcium and selenium.

Están muy ricas pero podían venir sin escamas.

Que una sardina en conserva mantenga su escama es un indicador de frescura del pescado empleado en su elaboración y su consumo tiene muchos beneficios para la salud como también la espina y la piel. Las conservas son sometidas a un proceso de esterilización en autoclave, lo que provoca que estos elementos se hidrolicen y sean blandos, constituyendo un magnífico aporte de vitaminas y nutrientes.
